So, now to show you the cards I have made for this hop:
I used a From Me To You Decoupage Set to make the following 3 cards, using the toppers, decoupage images, backing papers and embellishments. Other equipment used such as card stock, ribbon, gems etc are from my own crafty stash.
This is probably one of the best cards I've made! I'm so chuffed about it! Hope my friend liked it when she received it!
To make this Tatty Teddy card, I made an 8x8 white gatefold card. I covered each side of the gate fold with pink dotty paper and then topped each side with a white floral paper and decorated these with clear adhesive gems. The main image of the card was made by cutting a piece of pink shimmer card, covering it with yellow dotty paper and mounting a TT image. To complete the card, I mounted 2 sentiments with 3D foam and made 3 bows in
co-ordinating colours. I also applied a pink gem to the butterfly on the main image.
This card was made for my sisters friend, Teela Jarvis. They call each other by their surname, so my sister is G and Teela is J.
To make this card, I made a 6x6 gatefold card. I covered each side of the gate fold with dotty paper, alternate colours and then topped each side with alternating floral paper and decorated these with clear adhesive gems. The main image of the card was made by mounting a TT decoupage image onto pink shimmer card. To complete the card, I mounted a "Just For You" sentiment with 3D foam in the top left hand corner of the card. I also stuck an adhesive letter "J" to the bottom right hand corner of the card. To complete the card, I made a pink bow and attached it to the card with pinflair glue.
I made this card for my cousin Nicola's 15th birthday.
This 5x5 card was made using a lilac textured card blank. I used pale pink and lilac card and mounted a topper image of TT onto them using double sided tape. I stuck this onto the top left hand corner of the card,. Using more pale pink card, I mounted a patterned border to the pink card and attached it to the right hand side of the card. I decorated the card with card candy, adhesive gems, an organza ribbon bow and a "Happy Birthday" sentiment.
Finally, this card was for my cousin's wedding anniversary.
This card was made from free products received in a crafting magazine. I made a 6x6 card blank and covered the top half with a deep red textured card stock and the bottom half with a rose patterned paper. I cut a narrow green border and attached it across the middle of the card. I then cut out 3 hearts with birds in the centre and attached these with 3d foam across the top of the card and the green strip. I applied another layer of 3D foam to the central heart to give it more dimension than the other 2 hearts. I then cut a small piece of green card and attached it to a piece of red card. Finally, I used a gold "Happy Anniversary" peel off on the green card and attached it to the main card with 3D foam. To complete the card, I made a small red bow and attached it with pinflair to the central heart.
So that's my card creations! Hope you like them. I'd love to read any comments you may have, and I know the other bloggers would love to hear your thoughts about their cards too.
Remember this is a 5 day hop! It's a big 'un! So please try and hop around all the bloggers blogs!

Gorgeous Gorgeous cards Lisa xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the kind comments ladies. In reply to Liz, decoupage is a technique, where various elements of an image are raised up using 3D foam or silicone glue. There are so many variants of decoupage, you should definitely have a look!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks
