Retirement Card

This is a card I made for my Mum to give to her boss who was retiring.

I made the card using a 6x6 white card-blank.  I rounded the corners using a corner punch.  Using pink stripey paper from a Forever Friends paper pack, I cut it to size, rounding the corners again and sticking it onto the card-blank with double-sided sticky tape.  The main image is from a Fizzy Moon decoupage set I recently bought.  I built up the image, rounded the corners and stuck it onto a piece of turquoise Bazzil Basics 12x12 piece of card which i cut down to size and rounded the corners, allowing a small border of the turquoise card to be seen.  I printed off the sentiments "Best Wishes" and "On Your Retirement" on smooth white card and mounted them onto small pieces of the turquoise card.  I made a small bow using turquoise ribbon and attached it at an angle in the bottom right hand corner of the card.  To complete the card, I used clear adhesive gems on the corners of the card and also on the sentiments.
